My best suggestion would be to go to a shop and try out a few guitars, then post what you played and we'll try to help you from there. Also, what kind of music do you like? Edited by mynameisDavid, Aug 2 2010, 09:50 PM.

If you're serious about playing, I'd suggest finding what style music you're most into, and buying a guitar based upon that. Certain guitars are better suited for different styles. As for your budget, I've found that $150-200 doesn't quite cut it for a "good" guitar. Everyone I've ever known never likes their first guitar after they've played long enough to tell the difference. I wish I could go back and get all the money out of all of the equipment that I've bought in the past, and put it towards gear I love. That's not to say that your case fits that description, but I'd suggest going to the $350 range to find something worth playing for a long time. Hope you find what you're looking for. |
