Strumming my APX i was plaing an open "D" chord when i left the 6th "E" string open. I love the sound of this new chord so i looked through books to see if it had a name. ( 2nd fret G, 3rd fret B is what i was playing)

I could not find/see a name for it...does it have one?

Any help appreciated.

Immortal (well, ...so far!)

Chord formula 1, 2, 5. (Exchange the 3rd in the major chord for the 2nd)

For D that means substitute the note F# with note E - giving D, E and A.
NEW - Scarlet red PRS Custom 24 (25th anniversary birds)
