Dear Members,

This forum will be shutting down as of 1 November 2009 :'(

It will be a sad day for me, 3 years of my life have gone into this forum. But we are moving onto something much bigger and better.

You are all invited to join us on this new venture, more details will be released soon!

If any of the lovely members here would like to save EGF... you can! I would love to sell the site to somebody who will look after it and make it grow.

That's right, you could own your own guitar forum! You will get not only the forum, but also the www.electricguitarforums.com domain name and all administrator accounts. You will then be 100% the new owner of EGF!

If anybody is interested, please PM me with your offers.

If an agreement is not reached by November 1st, EGF will be closing down as planned.

Bye guys, it's been great B)

:( Sadly i don't see enough potential in it. As much as i like to throw in my 2 pence where i can, i can't see the forum ever growing that big, and if it did i expect it would sadly become the bullshit battleground most other forums are! Shame that, that is what seems to make popular forums! Will be a shame to see it go!

I think it could with the right person at the controls. I haven't gone to time or ambition anymore. But like I said, we are moving onto bigger and better things. All will be revealed soon.

Ive tried to send a pm but not sure whether it has worked/sent properly.
But either way, mayaswell ask here.
Ive started my own Business, up2eleven Guitars & Accessories, selling a few different brands of guitar accessories, strings, leads, capos etc etc. I was wondering if it would be possible to do something along side this forum?or perhaps the new forum coming soon? Such as offering special offers or deals for forum members.
Let me know what you think, any ideas etc. Or if its a no go area. either way
Cheers, James
