Newbie Posts: 17 Group: Members Member #9,230 Joined: July 21, 2009	I have this amp that has over a hundred combinations to sound. I like it because it is good to see if I can't match distortion. The only thing I don't like about it is that it has no fuse. No protection, I had a hallow body guitar and it vibrated and had feedback so it is now partially damaged. It sounds good but some combinations don't sound good anymore.

Posts: 1,032 Group: Moderator Member #8,625 Joined: June 23, 2008	a guitar feeding back shouldn't cause damage to the amp itself. you may have blown a speaker though if you let the feedback go on to long. is that amp made by Behringer?

Newbie Posts: 17 Group: Members Member #9,230 Joined: July 21, 2009	It is an amp head. I put the controls to where it sounds clean and it works. When I put it to distortion and noise gate it has a buzzing noise.

Posts: 1,032 Group: Moderator Member #8,625 Joined: June 23, 2008	ok, hmm.... don't know that much about SS amp issues but perhaps you have fried the distortion channel. getting an amp that cheap fixed is usually cost prohibitive.
