I have never played one over here, as the mom and pop store nearby has 'em, but you know how those places are with regards to turning up the amp.

So, I just wanted your opinions on those great tube amps, since you're all there in the UK. ;)

depends what you're after! They do a vast range of amps! They're rather good at rock though in particular! And they are looouuud, really really loud!! They're no frills amps, the ones i have played on have had treble, middle, bass, volume and gain and that's it! but they are designed to be tone machines! So they aren't going to sound great at 10% volume! They just sound very very sweet! Spanking cleans and good, thick, crunchy distortion, they're articulate too, depending on the guitar of course. :)
