Writing Lyrics; I need some help

Member Posts: 48 Group: Members Member #8,911 Joined: October 13, 2008	So, I've had to write a few poems and stuff, and it's not that I can't write, its that I don't know what to write about. I'm pretty young, so I know its not a big deal, but know I'm in a band, and I don't know what to write. I don't wanna be a whining complaining band, because my life doesn't suck. I don't have a serious relationship with a girl, so I can't write about love and what not, so please help!

Posts: 1,032 Group: Moderator Member #8,625 Joined: June 23, 2008	what type of music does your band play? songs can tell stories but they don't have to be from total personal experience. everyone has something to say just figure out what you have to say andthen do it. songs don't have to be like poems.
