I'm wondering how to mic up my glock for both recording and performance purposes. I currently have a dynamic mic suspended from above the glock, which doesn't allow for a particularly clear tone; however, having the mic below doesn't seem to alter the sound quality. Is there a sure fire way to mic up a glock? Is there any way of fitting a pick up onto it? Thanks. |

I would suggest that Two Mics......One Suspended and one Floor Mounted would give nice results? As to Pickups........ I would try searching for a Glockenspeil Forum and seeing what's on offer there? I'd have thought that there must be a simple enough system out there, but I can't for the life of me find anything relevent. |
