bear with me, i think this is the right forum for this story: so i ordered my new agile AL-3000 and i figured it would come in today. so i went to work in the hopes that it would be at my house when i got home. I got home an no guitar :angry: but then my mom reminded me that the delivery dude comes at like 6 pm too. i waited and sure enough the guy came. im all giddy and excited (i get that way with new stuff haha) so i go wait at the door. i see the guy carying a small package (way too small to be a guitar) and i just figured the lady who lives upstairs from me was getting something as well and that they guy would just go back in the truck and get my big package right after he dropped this one off. so he heads back to his truck and drives off. at this point im like "wtf?" and then i look down at the package. its addressed to me so i bring it inside. i open it up and its the books i ordered that i needed for school. :angry: im heated at this point cus not only was it not my guitar, it was frigin school stuff! roar!!! so yeah, thats my story, i just needed to vent and i was curious if anything like this (high expectations then a sudden dissapointment) has ever happened to you guys. |

haha i've had high expectations and sudden disappointments but not like that. it'll probably come tomorrow or something. |

haha yeah i know it will, or saturday. i dont think i was angry cus it didnt come, more of that school stuff came instead haha im over it now though

Sure, I have had stuff like that happen. Once I was waiting for my amp to come and I kept getting other deliveries, or delivery vans would drive past my house just to piss me off lol |

yeah it sucks balls when they do that! also, did you ever notice that when you are waiting for something your sense of hearing is heightened and you hear every little noise and think its what you are waiting for but in reality its just something like the wind blowing haha |

lucky...i cant do that cus i live in a two-family house and everyone rings the other family's doorbell and not mine and i cant hear it when theirs rings so yeah. and also i have a shitty bell so it doesnt always ring
 oh well. |

actualy i woke up this morning to a truck door slamming and boom there it was, and the dude didnt even ring the doorbell i dont think...anyway, its awesome and well worth the wait. i still feel like such a little kid when i get mail and stuff, im so excited/anxious and i always end up killing myself waiting. oh well im only 17 so im fine with feeling like a kid and im sure i always will. im going to be a 70 year old man jumping up and down with my grandkids saying "yay its almost here!" and "is that the truck?!?!?!?!?!?!"

yea the delivery people over here are screwing up. they lose orders, they open up some boxes, and they don't ring the doorbell. all those are against the law. my sister ordered something and she was waiting like 3 weeks and then she was just going outside one day and there it was, the box on the ground next to the door with one side open. |

yeah, they really suck. my box had a like rip in the side of it. i made sure to check that nothing was missing or gone or anything (the guitar was inside of the case which was in a bag which was then in the box) but its all ok. over here we have 2 main delivery companies, UPS and Fedex. UPS isnt that bad but Fedex is just a bunch of dumbasses. |

yea here we have ups, fedex, and usps. USPS sucks and the best is ups. if i had a choice (most time i don't) i'd always use ups. |

wow, a talk about american delivery companies
 Here we have mainly Royal Mail and Parcelforce, but there are many others like Citylink Express (they deliver all of my guitars) and Parcelnet. Yeah, there are lots here
