Retired Moderator Posts: 134 Group: Retired Member #6 Joined: June 24, 2006	I'm about to get rid of my ADA MP-1 in favor of a PODxt. For anyone who doesn't know, the MP-1 was the premier tube preamp in the 80s. Pretty much every 80s metal tone is contained in that box. Anyway, I'm pretty fickly about tones, so I'm going back to a modeler. With all the Model Packs, the XT has like 78 amp models, plus different effects and cabinets. Hopefully it'll keep me satisfied for a few months

Because as a general rule of thumb, multi's suck I had the 2.0, and it rocked like a mofo. From what everybody with an XT has told me, it sounds better than the 2.0, and does a ton more stuff. Up until the PODs, I totally agreed with you about the multi-effect deals sucking. However, I think Line 6 really upped the ante, and made everybody start making them sound good.
